A custom 2D environment driven by the public FlyWire FAFB v783 connectome.
No keyboard control. Food, light and collision signals stimulate real connectome groups; network activity drives locomotion.

The science behind the simulation
A few concise introductions to the FlyWire project and the complete adult fruit-fly brain connectome.
Gold dots are sampled firing events from the connectome tick.
Scientific caveat
The wiring and synaptic weights come from the real public connectome. The LIF dynamics and game-world
sensor/motor interface are an experimental model. Food direction and attack direction are supplied by the
2D environment, while locomotion is gated by propagated network activity. “Attack” means a modeled
mechanosensory/danger stimulus; it does not establish that the simulation experiences pain or consciousness.
Data source: public FlyWire-derived connectome.bin.gz from the open-source FlyBrain project. The app fetches only that data file; this page contains its own renderer, world logic and simulation worker.
